Displaced again and again with no income, Reem is fighting for her family’s survival in Deir al-Balah, Gaza

Reem Ziad Mohammed Daoud lives in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, with her husband, Bilal, and their two sons, Awni and Amjad. The war destroyed their home, and the family has been displaced and left homeless many times across the camps of the Gaza Strip.

Bilal lives with Type 1 diabetes and needs three vials of insulin every month to stay alive. The family has no income at all and depends entirely on support to get through each day. They lack the most basic necessities: food, clean water, warm clothing, a safe place to stay and medical treatment.

Winter is coming, and the boys have no warm clothes or blankets. Every month, Reem needs £480 to cover food and clean water, warm clothes and blankets, Bilal’s insulin and medical care, rent for a safe place to stay, and her sons’ school fees.

What your donation provides each month

  • Food and clean water for the family: £500
  • Winter clothes and blankets for 4 people: £400
  • Insulin and medical care for Bilal: £250
  • Rent for a safe place to stay: £200
  • School fees for Awni and Amjad: £150

Total every month: £480

Donate today and help Reem get through this winter.
