Zee - Support a Mother of Three Whose Husband Is Missing

After her husband went missing in the war, urgent help for Nora and her family in Beit Lahia, Gaza

Nora Arafa Sultan Ma’rouf is a mother of three in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza: baby Ahmed (9 months), Malaka (7) and Rozan (12). She also cares for her elderly in-laws, who live with the family. Her father-in-law is paralysed, and both grandparents need ongoing treatment.

Her husband went missing when the family was displaced to the south. When they returned north, they searched for him again and again, with no answer. They still don’t know whether he was killed or taken prisoner. With him gone, the family of six has no breadwinner.

Today they live in their house near the Yellow Line, where they face constant danger. Winter is coming, and the family has no warm clothes or blankets for the children and elderly grandparents. Every month, Nora needs £480 to cover food for everyone, milk and nappies for her baby, medicine for the grandparents, school costs for her daughters, and warm clothes and blankets for winter. Without support, she cannot meet any of it.
