Zee - Support a Widow Whose Baby Was Born an Orphan

Her husband went to collect flour and never came back. Help Amal and her two sons in Gaza

Amal Awni Barawi Abu Saleh is a widow in Gaza raising two sons: Zain Al-Abidin (10) and baby Adam (6 months). Her mother also lives with them, and the whole family shares a single rented room.

Amal’s husband, Mo’men, went to an aid distribution site to collect flour for his family. He never came back, and he is believed to have been killed there. Amal was pregnant at the time. Her youngest son, Adam, was born an orphan, just like our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Today Amal has no one to provide for her family, and winter is coming with no warm clothes or blankets for her children. Every month, she needs £480 to cover rent for their room, food, baby milk and nappies for Adam, school fees for Zain, medication when her children fall ill, and warm clothes and blankets for winter. Without regular support, she cannot keep a roof over her children’s heads.

What your donation provides each month

• Winter clothes and blankets for 4 people: £500
• School fees, baby milk and nappies: £300
• Food and everyday clothing: £300
• Rent for their room: £200
• Medication for the children: £200

Total every month: £480

Donate today and help Amal get through this winter.
